Since the start back in 2013, Young Mountain has been a big part of the alternative scene in both Sweden and Europe. With their own and ever evolving sound, they have taken on new musical expressions with each release.

After several tours and festivals around Europe and Canada, they are now finally coming out with new music.

On April 4, The single “Violet” was released, once again showing that Young Mountain never lets themselves be repeated. Violet retains the expression and sound of Young Mountain but dresses it in a poppier structure, with singing, instead of screaming, without losing attitude.

Violet is the first of a series of singles that will be released as an EP this summer, where Young Mountain further approaches post-punk and shoegaze.

During the spring, Young Mountain will go on tour in Northern Europe together with the Spanish screamo band Boneflower.
